Caroline Krahé, RMT
Caroline graduated from the 3000 hour Massage Therapy program in 2012 from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy here in Victoria. Since graduating, she has helped people with a wide variety of issues such as chronic pain, athletic injuries, whiplash due to motor vehicle accidents, as well as clients who choose to include massage therapy in their lives to maintain their health. Along with helping clients get back to their pain-free daily routine, Caroline also believes that encouraging the use of massage therapy is a vital way to help reduce stress.
When she isn’t working at Essential Health Centre, Caroline also works part-time at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy as a Teacher’s Assistant and as a Supervisor in the student clinic.
Caroline has always maintained an active lifestyle which includes playing soccer as well as fencing which has taken her to provincial competitions and the BC Games. She has recently completed her first half marathon up in Ucluelet. On her free time, she enjoys any outdoor adventures with her dog Ari, such as hiking, going to the beach, biking, and running.
Mark Bodnar, B.A., R.Ac., RHN, CAT(C)
Mark has been helping people out of pain for over 15 years. With his unique background in Holistic Nutrition, Athletic Therapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine and current study in Osteopathic manual therapy, he has a wealth of knowledge and experience in treating pain of all kinds, but commonly sees clients with back/neck pain, migraines/headaches, joint and muscle pain. Mark takes an osteopathic approach to caring for your health by looking for the underlying reasons that your having challenges in your health. He has continued to study advanced forms of pain relief and has been fortunate to learn from and study with the worlds leading experts.

Ari, Therapy Dog
Ari became a Therapy Dog in February 2018. She is a two year old, Miniature Australian Shepherd. She loves to spend her days outside, either chasing after her ball, playing with other dogs, hiking or swimming. Her favorite thing above all is food. Ari loves to greet people as they come into the clinic and ask for pets. Belly rubs are her favorite. She is a sweet and gentle dog and is amazing at her job.
